Sacramento Kings

Vegas Over/Under: 28.5

The Record Projection: 28-54 of fromal The Bet: lean although Avoid under
If any over/under mark looks on the money, it’s the one set for the Sacramento Kings. But we will still lean ever so slightly toward the below, largely for reasons explained by ESPN.com’s Kevin Pelton as he forecasted the Western Conference bottom-feeders to win just 27.4 matches:
«Despite incorporating veterans Vince Carter, George Hill and Zach Randolph as free agents, the Kings are projected as the league’s second-worst offensive assault by RPM. Even though this isn’t a part of this projection, few teams will have more incentive to boost their draft pick, as Sacramento won’t have its first-rounder in 2019 due to commerce.»
That incentive to tank is big, and it may not even be as impactful as the possible reduction of Randolph. Explaining a scenario that could soon use to the veteran power forward, Ronald Tillery wrote for The Commerical Appeal:»The league’s collective bargaining agreement with the players’ association states a player is going to be dismissed and disqualified from the NBA if he’s convicted of, or pleads guilty, no contest or nolo contendere to, a crime involving the felony distribution of marijuana»
Minutes would be thrust on by losing Randolph upon the Kings’ collection of inexperienced gamers. And that is the theme of the roster, as management has done a praiseworthy job of building up their coffers after the passing of DeMarcus Cousins.
That approach just won’t turn into several wins yet.
