Some of New York’s brightest young designers are teaming up with L-Atitude and Project Paz to hawk specially-made designs that will benefit Mexico’s ravaged Ciudad Juarez. Philip Lim, Thakoon, Wes Gordon www.fabulalitera.de , andPeter Somhave helped design thirteen one-of-a-kind pieces and 100% of the net proceeds will be donated towards efforts in the war-torn region. Even accessories designers like Eddie Borgo Canada Goose jackets , Anndra Neen, and Alejandro Ingelmo have lent a helping hand—each creating pieces that are crafted of hand-woven Mexican cloth. Though the designs will be exclusively available on L-Atitude—an e-shop filled with well-traveled items—tonight’s kick-off event will serve as Project Paz’s annual fundraiser, Project Art.
