BIG MARLEY’S UFC 228 DRAFT KINGS FANTASY BREAKDOWN

There’s a lot of money to be obtained on DraftKings including a top prize of $25k from the tournament. DK also has lots of Qualifier contests on this week, in which the last event will pay $50k into 1st if you did qualify to play inside. I’ll be pursuing those as well because we have not ever had a $50k 1st place prize and I want it. We did have one struggle fall away but we still have a 13-fight card. This is a superb card to construct your bankroll for the very first Sunday of NFL so it’s possible to pursue that $1M.
Money Game play of this week — Zabit Magomedsharipov ($9,400)
Zabit will be super chalky in championship. Everyone who had Shevchenko in their lineup is going to change to Zabit and that he will probably be the most possessed fighter around the slate. In cash games we don’t care about possession as much and I am going to be starting my cash team with Zabit. I think he’s the simplest win on the card and he’s the maximum ceiling as well. I believe if you would like to get sneaky and not use Zabit, the GPPs are the place to do this. Lock him in money and choose the triumph. Then you only need to find about 3 additional wins and you ought to have a winning cash team.
GPP play of this week — Alex White ($8,600)
I think Jim Miller is close to the finish of his profession and I am thinking this is going to be the last time we see him in the UFC. I think he is going to be given his 5th loss in a row here and I am guessing it will be via knockout. I think Alex White will be too powerful and fast for Jim Miller at this stage in his career and I believe he will be able to keep this fight on the feet. With everyone paying for Zabit in GPPs, Alex White and some other mid-range favorites might be a good way to go to make your lineups more contrarian and attempt to find 1st place in a GPP like that. I do like White a fantastic bit in this struggle and I think he has 100+ point potential at a $8.6additional salary. He is my GPP drama of this week.
Underdog drama of this week — Diego Sanchez ($7,300)
Diego Sanchez is my underdog drama of the week because I do not think Craig White is any good. Sanchez may be entirely taken, and if this is the situation he can get KO’d early. However, I really don’t think Craig White ought to be -200 contrary to some other UFC fighter. Diego is economical enough where it allows you to find some of those higher favorites you like on your lineup, and I think he can find a choice win here. He’ll be my pick to win, however it is not a certain pick and I think he makes for a better GPP play than money punt.
Fade of the week — Aljamain Sterling ($8,500)
I’m excited about watching this fight and I will be picking Aljo to get the win here. My issue is that I don’t think he is very likely to score highly, and maybe not even 10x his wages. I believe a lot of this struggle will take place on the toes and Aljo doesn’t throw in a high enough speed to score well in a striking match. He’ll have to get this battle to the ground several times and rack up some advance points for him to score highly. I don’t see that happening. I think this will be a very close fight and I’d rather just pay up for any of the fighters above Sterling. I believe we would be looking at a score about 70-75 DK points using an Aljo choice win here.
